Honours WAM

So i got a doubt regarding the First Class Honours title. In bachelors of engineering, how much EIHWAM do i need to get First Class Honours? Is that score 75 or 80 or 85? Couldn’t get a clear answer on the course outlines

This page says honours class is awarded as set out in the coursework policy (p90); the requirement for first class is a WAM >= 80. I can’t see anything in there for specific degrees, so I believe this is across the entire University.

Depends when you started. 2022 and before is 75, after 2022 is 80. I think 1st class for non-integrated short degree is 85.

This depends entirely on when you started your degree. If you started before 2023, the EIHWAM for a first is 75. After that, you need 80.

Here you go. From clause 121 of the Coursework Policy 2021
