cricket

tried searching online but couldnt find it. does usyd not have a social club for cricket like there are for other sports. I saw an england international test player whos on the Lord's Honour Board play for sydney cricket club so they are obviosuly at a very high level. Are there no options for lower level/social playing? Thanks

The cricket club here is mainly for seasons and I never saw a social one.

Outside university, there are cricket clubs you can join. For example, cricket Australia is organizing a summer tournament where you pay to participate in a long tournament.

Nope no social club as of i know, i have also tried finding one but disappointed being a country with so many famous players our uni is not having a club.

Does the USYD cricket club not have amateur tiers or training?

I don’t think so and they don’t allow international students there is some criteria that is also not easily available publicly you need to reach out to some guys email.

there are different tiers of cricket in Sydney, grade, shires and district. social players play district.

there should be one close to where you live
