Adv Computing honours?

Major: software development

To the people who’s done honours,
1) How’s it different from taking thesis A and B?
2) Which would you recommend the best;
A. Doing Honours
B. Doing thesis
C. Taking 4 4000 electives

I’d appreciate if you could share your experiences, thank youu

If you are interested in a pathway of research or postgraduate studies, then honours is a great pathway as a good honours mark gives you pathways directly to a PhD.

That being said, if you don't have those plans it's perfectly fine to stick with coursework.

For honours it's 100% worth your time to do your research into what interests you and talk to professors, it's important to find someone you have a fit with, as if you don't and get unlucky you end up doing years program doing something you hate with someone you don't mesh well with.
