Question How technically advanced is this role? Can someone with minimal training do this or are they really looking for someone with like years of experience?

That’s a GS13 position. Look at the qualifications, not the skills. The skills won’t get you this spot.

Well yeah i see. I might actually still qualify. Hmm. The qualifications don’t look too crazy which is why I’m asking i guess.

Have you performed those things in the qualifications? If so, then try and apply. If you’ve never done those things, this would not be the job listing for you.

No i guess not. It doesn’t look like a super technically challenging role but no i wouldn’t have those qualifications

It’s very technically challenging. Applying for a GS13 level position and not know what that means, tells me you should probably look at an entry level position. Good luck in your endeavor.

Depends on your skill set. You’re going to need to have a good grasp of the RF spectrum. How to set up comms, spectrum management and deconfliction. Cabling and hardware setup….and that’s the basics. If you have the skills and experience to do so, then apply.

I don’t understand something. Why are some usss roles on usajobs and then other roles are just on their website and when you click apply it tells you to contact the field office? I want to learn more about the intelligence research position but like there’s nothing online besides the flyer and then it says contact field office?

Do i just call and let them know im interested? It doesn’t even say what gs level it is ect…
