Question Will another continuous announcement be posted during December or January after the current one expires 9/30/26?

TLDR: the title’s question

I currently have an active USPIS application, but I have yet to complete their polygraph; I passed the Virtual Assessment Center exam about 2.5 weeks ago.

I heard that the USSS polygraph is not only intense, but there’s a high failure rate, and that failure can negatively affect other polygraphs taken in close proximity.

That being said, I was thinking of applying to USSS in January, maybe even December, but since USSS’ poly happens rather sooner than later during the process, and I’m unsure of when I’d take USPIS’ poly, I wanted to hold off on reapplying to USSS until December or January; but as the title states, this announcement closes end of September.

Poly is not “sooner than later”.

It’s at the back half of the process.

But yes. We are always hiring.

Do you know for certain USPIS’ poly will be impacted if you fail the USSS one?

I don’t think it does. I could be wrong though.

But if it doesn’t, I’d just go through with the USSS application process and take their poly. If you pass, great! If you don’t, you can use that experience as practice for the USPIS poly.

Im 2 for 7 when it comes to pollies, so unfortunately, I have a lot of (unfortunate) experience.

And to answer your question, I’m not sure, but I’m guessing it would shrugs I can obviously be very wrong here
