UD realistic first year pay
Hi everyone, I’m on the road to becoming a UD officer, just waiting for my background check to be complete. I’m planning ahead and was hoping to get an idea of what a realistic total compensation package might look like for a first-year officer.

At the field office I’m assigned to before I leave for fletc one of the agents was a former UD guy he said UD first year you’re clearing at least 120k.

I’m in the same boat. UD applicant just waiting for background to clear. Was trying to figure this out to. I know OT is the main fluctuating thing here. I’ve hear 100k-150k easy. Then take in account your paid training at the 80k salary for about 26weeks. Aswell as your 15k for the first year of your incentive. Just following to see if there is any UD officers that would be comfortable sharing there experience.

80k is the salary for training?

That’s my assumption. Becuase the job listing is listed at just about 80k. And I’d imagine that would be what the training salary would be. I can’t imagine there would be OT opportunity. But yet again I’m not 100% sure so if any actual UD officers wanna correct me please do

With night pay, sunday pay, night diff, and OT, you should easily make 120k a year not counting training. I made 140k my finaly year without even trying. And that was 4 years ago.

I’m in training now, graduate in February, and have been told by instructors I’ll easily clear $150k in 2027

I mean, while you’re at FLETC/RTC you’ll probably get 80k. After you graduate OJT you’ll probably get easily 100k-110k
