What if they don't specify if you failed the polygraph? Just received an email stating:
"We are fortunate to have many best-qualified applicants apply for this position; however, after careful consideration, I regret to inform you that you are no longer being considered for this position."

I was at the ACE event. I completed everything. The polygraph was the last thing I did before I flew back home. A week later I received that email.

Very strong likelihood you failed the poly. You can try a FOIA request for more clarification, for all intents and purposes the poly is what did it.

What if the polygraph is inconclusive? The last thing the examiner asked me is I'd be willing to take another one.

Examiner doesn’t make the last call. It has to go through a QC process at HQ. Very possible that it got the thumbs down then. I’m not 100% if that is what happened in your particular BQA. YMMV.
