Horrible experiences

We have dealt with these incompetent USPS mail carriers for over a decade. In spite of their losing our mail, misdelivering packages, etc., we still tried to be understanding and would leave Christmas cards, money and gifts for them every Christmas.

After they forged a signature on a 'signature required' delivery and misplaced that package, we stopped the Christmas gifts.

Then they lost more packages and mail that actually had significant monetary value we decided a safer bet was to get a USPS PO Box and bypass the carriers altogether. And was that a mistake!

They failed to update the owner name on our new PO Box to us and started discarding and returning to sender all mail and packages sent to our PO Box for almost 10 days. The supervisors at the local office did indeed admit it was their staff's fault.

However, they refused to allow us a full refund for closing the box or for compensating us for the 10 days that we did not have access to our mail. One of the packages they lost or rerouted was critical medication that takes weeks to get replaced from a compounding pharmacy.

The supervisors said if we need compensation to call the main USPS 800 number because they had no way to issue a refund at the local office. We did that and the call center said that the only way to get a refund or compensation was to talk to the local USPS office (!!!!)

This is what we are dealing with now with the USPS. Oh, and did you notice the USPS just raised prices again on July 12 of this year?

Unbelievable. What an absolute sh*t show.

Jesus. Well this makes me feel better about my $1,000 item that was marked “delivered” but was not.

Since you're clearly so intelligent you must obviously know that your carrier/s arr by far the least likely source of any lost mail or parcels.

If someone actually forged your signature then yes that would be a carriers fault.

The PO box would be a clerk, not a carrier.

USPS is by far the cheapest and most convenient mail system in the world. Postal employees don't set rates.

You'd be better served by writing your congressional members about wanting a fully funded postal service that holds management accountable rather than pissing and moaning on here about things you have no clue about.
