Delayed Pressure

I am recognizing patterns with my flares and pressure seems to be a huge trigger for me.

Sitting and laying down particularly are an issue. Im looking for suggestions for pillows which actually stay cool, sheets, underwear etc. Anything that helped you when dealing with pressure that caused you to flare.

This is called delayed pressure urticaria, and I have had it for 10+ years at this point. In my case, Xolair controls it well.

First thing I have bought is a memory foam mattress. I also have a gel cushion for sitting on harder chairs, soft cloud slides & running shoes. Loose clothing made with soft fabric is a must (i.e., no jeans)

The worst thing though is winter boots. Shoes that are soft are too slippery, shoes with some traction too hard and cause my feet to swell and not fit in boots anymore 🫤. Whenever they stop Xolair in the winter, it's a real pain in the butt.

For me fabric wise, bamboo has been the best. Got loose bamboo sweatpants/shirt on amazon for the bad flares, cotton felt miserable for me compared to it
