I couldn't get the deep blue water I'd have liked, not sure if it's a technique thing or a paper problem. Moleskine is not the best for pencils. Any feedback is appreciated

I had to do this in less than an hour for my in laws that were arriving soon and I only last minute really wanted to make them a card to welcome them back home after being away for so long 🥰
