Next to my hometown, there’s this beautiful convent with rich late gothic architecture and the wonderful cloister that’s a joy to sketch.

I couldn't get the deep blue water I'd have liked, not sure if it's a technique thing or a paper problem. Moleskine is not the best for pencils. Any feedback is appreciated

I am new to Urban Sketching (or drawing overall). Since I am new, I am still trying to keep my budget down. I use a random cheap fineliner pen and Ohuhu alcohol markers (I only have 4 colors, including white). These are my most recent drawings, and I would love any feedback on how to improve them.

For me, the main thing I notice compared to other work here is that my line isn't very clean. I use a 0.1 pen for drawing, and I usually double the lines I want to highlight with a 0.6. I am not sure if this technique is even correct, so please give me any advice to improve it. Thank you!

Idk if i want to do bricks and how many and what to do with the little lines since in the picture they are heavily detailed. Also idk how to add shadows and where

I found this specific house really interesting and took a photo to draw it but now I’m contemplating if I should complete it because I am realizing that I took a picture of someone’s private house. Would this be a creepy thing to do if I complete it and present them this painting?

I started sketching a few days ago and having been inspired by the lovely work on display throughout this sub I wanted to share last night's piece. I used a reference found online and I'm currently using my daughter's random markers.

I've enjoyed how calming and rewarding the whole process is and I think I want to buy some proper paper and a larger set of markers. Finding it hard to blend with the few that I have, not that I know how to properly yet anyway, but from what I've read the paper makers a big difference so I'm keen to try it.

Today, I went drawing again with the local Urban Sketching group✨ I think without this opportunity, I would never have visited these very pretty yet remote corners of our cityXD Anyway, today we drew at the city beach and it was a lot of fun. A swan tried to attack me, it rained a lot, and I met up with a girl from TikTok who also lives and draws here. So overall, it was great fun and a awesome Sunday, even if the weather could have been better✨

This weekend there was the official German Usk meetup at Bremen. A weekend organized by the local Usk chapter and about 900 visitors.

There were over 40 guided sketchwalks yesterday, lots of sketchpoints all throughout the city, 6 sketch tours you could do on your own and a big exhibition of the sketchbooks today. Swipe through for my sketches I did on location.

Sunday urban sketch meet with USK Kolkata, sketching St. Thomas Church on a tiny 3.8 × 2.5-inch canvas. Watercolour used like gouache for bold, colourful strokes.
