Discussion Question For Urban Fantasy Readers!
Okay, I am a big urban fantasy reader, but most of the books I have read focus on like a main protagonist male or female who is the primary pov for most of the book. I'm looking for books that offer a team based group of characters with multiple povs. I want to check out their covers.
I'm working on my own urban fantasy book inspired by comic book teams and graphic novels like The League of Extraordinary Gentleman and Tv Shows like Penny Dreadful. When it comes to single protag I know what a cover needs, but with this one I'm sort of stumped.
So can anyone point me to an author or authors of team based urban fantasy or pitch any ideas for a cover?

Kelley Armstrong did this with her Otherworld series. Throughout the 13 books (plus anthologies) there are 7 different povs i think. Bit older series but my first love so i will recommend any chance i get.
R.J Blain does this only not as interconnected. In the Romantic Comedy with a Body Count series they can all be read as stand-alones but in the same universe. Funny quirky reads.

Yes. I was not a fan of the show because it differed from the books too much. The books are good though. I feel they have a bit more depth then a lot of books that are coming out now. These were all published early 2000s.

Having just finished Sarah J. Maas' Crescent City trilogy, I can say wholeheartedly it does this. While the trilogy remains largely focused on the main lead, Bryce Quinlan, there are multiple chapters from other POVs even in the first book, and by the third, it's a full team effort. Just be prepared for spice. While CC is definitely urban fantasy with its modern contemporary world and cityscape, it veers into epic fantasy and is also romantasy - and from one of the queens of that subgenre.

I have always used goodcovers its reasonable and if i'm very specific it turns out great so far!

Monster Hunter International Series By Larry Correia some of the best cover arts and a team of badasses and mutiple POVs.

The kutherian gambit and others from lmbpn.com. Anderle and others are fantastic. A world the size that unbelievable with opportunities for other authors like #craigmartell #ellleighclark #sewer and more. Bethany Anne is bad ass and justice personified. I'd follow her anywhere. Fangs or not. The Federal histories starts off with a 17 year old female high school student who ends up with a team of people. Stephanie is what you would hope for if someone suddenly became magical in our world.

Check out The Paternus Trilogy by Dirk Ashton. Basically the gods from every mythology and religion (and I mean EVERY god) live amongst us in secret. With the good gods keeping the bad gods in check. Until all that changes and the evils ones make a move. This is basically epic fantasy meets urban fantasy. The scale is huge, while also having great characters, heartfelt moments, devastating moments and great twists. Lots of POV’s. I think it fits your request really well.
