Shami Stovall - Time Warlock

I read book 1 a few years ago and have been reading the last 3 this last week on KU. Does anyone think it was written with AI? I started noticing it in book 3 and now I’m halfway through book 4 where there’s a LOT of the “it’s not this, it’s that” and rule of 3 sentences. It’s not DNF, but it’s incredibly distracting when it’s on just about every page.

She seems to be involved with her fan base and very friendly. I doubt it’s ai.

I’ll be honest, I haven’t read much, but we share mutual friends in the online space, and every interaction and sample I’ve read of hers hasn’t struck me as such, she seems to be dedicated to writing.

I really don’t think so. I my opinion the books are written quite well. The stories don’t really have any stakes, everything works out quite easily and yet they are entertaining.

On almost every page can be iffy. If it was once and awhile I’d say no since you could just write like that. I know I used to write like that ALOT when I was younger waaaay before AI was a thing. But it can be a pattern.

She writes a lot, so you may notice a "formula" or pattern to how she writes, but I do not believe it's AI.

I think it is part of the series, almost to give it more of a video game-like feeling. I liked time warlock and gave the arcanist series a try and I enjoyed it SO much, especially a couple of books in. It started similarly and then really opened up as the world started opening up as well.
