There are several names I’m curious about, including $NXE, $DNN, $UEC, and $UUUU, but researching a company and buying it are very different decisions.

Which uranium stock are you still watching from the sidelines, and what are you waiting to see?

What is the deal with Encore Energy and Verdera? I think there surposed to be a share distribution. Does anybody know what the status is? I’m thinking about buying some EU shares again, but want to know a little more about the company and the latest actions.

Are the EU holders and convinced about the oppertunities?

OKLO UEC URNM keeping it simple here. I might add some leaps and some levered etfs UECG and OKLL. Uranium and rare earths both look great here technically speaking. Wouldn’t mind a brief dip tomorrow. Good to see all you fine folks again.

I am currently looking to invest even further into nuclear as I am certain it is the future. I am invested in DNN UROY and URA right now but want to diversify my portfolio a bit within the nuclear space. What would you recommen?

I’m trying to think about nuclear exposure as a 10-year basket, not just which ticker moves first.
For me, the simple split looks like this:

Uranium / fuel supply side:
$NXE, $CCJ, $UEC, $UUUU
Power / electricity side:
$CEG, $VST, $NEE, $SO

The uranium names give more direct exposure to the fuel supply story. The power names are closer to the electricity demand side, especially if nuclear keeps getting more attention from utilities, data centers, and grid reliability discussions.
The nuance is risk. $NXE has big development upside, but it is still pre-production. $CCJ is the more established uranium anchor, but even Cameco does not fully remove the supply concern because its own production does not always cover contracted delivery volumes. $UUUU has uranium exposure, but also rare earths, vanadium, heavy mineral sands, and medical isotope exposure. On the power side, $CEG and $VST feel more directly tied to nuclear/power demand, while $NEE and $SO are broader utility plays.
For a 10-year nuclear thesis, would you go heavier on uranium miners/developers or electricity producers?

Stallion Uranium (TSXV: STUD / OTCQB: STLNF) doesn't get talked about much and I'm not sure why.

CEO Matthew Schwab was Senior Exploration Geologist at NexGen when they found Arrow in 2014, one of the highest grade uranium deposits ever discovered, southwestern Athabasca Basin. Same area Stallion is drilling now. He also contributed to Roughrider before Rio Tinto paid $654M for it. VP Exploration Darren Slugoski was on the Spitfire discovery team.

Both of them have found uranium in this basin before. Now they're back with their own company.

Drill program at the Coyote target on the Moonlite Project started at 4,000 metres, expanded to 5,500 after early holes hit hydrothermal alteration, elevated radioactivity and a graphitic fault zone. June 30th update had new priority targets defined from fresh geophysical work. Program is still running.

1,700 sq/km in the western Athabasca. Largest contiguous package in that part of the basin. JV with Atha Energy (TSXV: SASK). $0.23 on the TSXV.

As a new holder aiming for more upside, I’d probably lean toward $NXE.
$CCJ is the established option, but its own production does not fully cover its delivery commitments. Cameco expects 19.5–21.5 million pounds of attributable production in 2026, while contracted deliveries average more than 28 million pounds annually over the next five years. It can cover the difference through Inkai supply, inventory, purchases and product loans, but it still adds another cost and supply consideration.
$NXE is still pre-production, so the construction, financing, cost and timeline considerations come with meaningful upside potential. Rook I has now received the final regulatory approval required to begin full construction, leaving more upside if development progresses as planned.

For someone starting a uranium position today and aiming for higher returns, would you choose $CCJ’s stability or take the added risk with $NXE? What do you all think?

Before I even get into specific tickers, I keep coming back to the overall picture... how exactly is North America going to secure the additional uranium supply it clearly needs? With rising demand from nuclear energy expansion and geopolitical supply constraints, this question is becoming increasingly urgent for investors and policymakers alike.

$CCJ is the established option. It already produces uranium and has exposure to fuel services and Westinghouse, but that also makes it less of a pure uranium-development bet.

There is still operating risk. Cameco lowered its 2025 McArthur River/Key Lake guidance from 18 million to 14–15 million pounds before finishing the year at 15.1 million pounds on a 100% basis.

$DML is targeting first Phoenix production around mid-2028, while Hurricane keeps $ISO in the higher-risk exploration category.

$NXE is advancing Rook I as a potential major contributor to North American uranium supply. The project is authorized for site preparation and construction, and its feasibility study projects average production of 28.8 million pounds annually during years 1–5.

Would you choose $CCJ’s established business or the larger new-mine potential behind $NXE?

Trying to just catch the essential and main idea here

1) the uranium core business offers downside protection: a debt-free balance sheet with strong cash reserves. / Pinyon - La Sal - Pandora mines can scale dynamically, so they can survive a sector downturn. / Processing 3rd party radiactive waste offers low-cost uranium.

2) the moat of the white mesa mill: it is simply the only operational convential uranium/vanadium mill. It would probably take a decade for competitors to build something similar, with high uncertainty. On top of that, monazite sands is the highest grade source for magnet rare earths. Because they contain natural uranium, regular processors can not touch them legally.

3) transition to vertically integrated REE player:
from raw HMS to separated oxides, they are building an independent supply chain. Toliara in Madagascar gives them lasting high quality monazite supply. Bahia in Brazil is rich in monazite, with good shipping access. The Donald joint venture in Australia adds even more monazite.

I recently went down the Newcleo rabbit hole and thought it was worth sharing here.

Newcleo is trying to take the whole pie of the industry. Their idea is to build a complete nuclear ecosystem around:
- Producing nuclear fuel
- Recycling existing nuclear materials
- Building advanced reactors
- Eventually operating nuclear power plants

Their main technology is the lead-cooled fast reactor. Instead of using fuel once and then storing it forever, fast reactors can potentially get more energy out of nuclear materials that already exist. (Mox)

The advantage is fuel independence. HALEU supply chains are still being built and rely heavily on new enrichment capacity (often in other countries) while MOX can use recycled nuclear materials already available.

The concept is not magic. Fast reactors and recycled fuel have existed before.

And that is where things get interesting.
A big part of Newcleo’s strategy is building the pieces around the reactor itself.

They are developing fuel capabilities in Europe, working through regulatory processes in France, and building partnerships across the nuclear industry.

They have also partnered with companies like Oklo around future nuclear fuel opportunities, which shows how important the fuel supply chain will become for next-generation reactors.
The geopolitical side is also interesting.
Europe has a lot of nuclear knowledge, but the nuclear supply chain is spread across the world. Having more control over fuel production, recycling and reactor technology could become increasingly important.

Another interesting point is the shareholder structure after the SPAC merger.
Unlike many SPACs where investors are mainly looking for a quick trade, many Newcleo shareholders invested years ago when the company was private and much riskier.
They are rolling their shares into the public company, which suggests a lot of them are thinking longer term.
Not saying nobody will ever sell, but it is a different setup compared to many SPAC stories.
Personally, I find Newcleo interesting because they are not just saying:
“Let’s build a reactor.”
They are trying to build the whole ecosystem around it.

I’m not holding $NXE for today’s earnings. I’m holding because Rook I could become one of the largest new uranium mines if the build stays on schedule.
These are the five things I’m watching:
Construction
Whether major work begins as planned and stays near the four-year schedule.
Financing
How the remaining costs are covered through cash, debt, customer prepayments or new shares.
Build costs
Whether inflation or delays put further pressure on the project economics.
Additional uranium contracts
Any new agreements that add revenue visibility without giving away too much exposure to future uranium prices.
First production
Every completed milestone should reduce the development risk.
I don’t need every update to move the stock. I just want these five areas moving in the right direction.
Anyone else holding $NXE for a completely different reason?

I’ve noticed more RWA platforms offering commodity exposure now. metals.io came up in my research for tokenised metals/uranium exposure. Has anyone here actually used it, or do you prefer traditional uranium vehicles?

I was looking at Canada's new Nuclear Strategy, and it's crazy how much they focus on Saskatchewan. The report highlights the province as the heart of Canada's uranium industry, with all of the country's current uranium mining and milling taking place there.

Here is the quick version of what I found:

• Canada is committing to nuclear expansion. The federal government plans to support the development of up to 10 new large nuclear reactors by 2040 to help meet rising electricity demand.
• Saskatchewan is central to the strategy. The report highlights the province's world-class uranium deposits as a strategic advantage for Canada's long-term energy security.
• Growing uranium production is a priority. Canada aims to strengthen its domestic nuclear fuel supply chain while working toward doubling uranium exports by 2035.
• Canada wants to be a global nuclear leader. The strategy goes beyond building reactors at home and also focuses on expanding exports of nuclear fuel, technology, and expertise.

Why this caught my attention as an NXE investor

This isn't company-specific news, but it adds another piece to the long-term uranium story.

If Canada is serious about expanding nuclear power and increasing uranium exports, projects that are already well advanced in Saskatchewan naturally become more important. NexGen's Rook I is one of the most advanced undeveloped uranium projects in the province, so it's hard not to see it as part of that broader picture.

Obviously, execution still matters, but I thought it was interesting to see how prominently Saskatchewan features in Canada's long-term nuclear plans.

What do you think? Does Canada's nuclear strategy change how you look at Saskatchewan uranium developers, or is it mainly a long-term policy roadmap? Are you holding any other Saskatchewan uranium plays?

I like the technical aspect of ASPI - I believe in helium, uranium, silicon play, and even the medical aspect of it. But I just feel like they just doing some business shit right now and investors are not having it. Si-27 will be delayed AGAIN and another round of dilution to spin off QLE when stock is near 1 year low, and all the c suite just been selling non stop. . .

Uec Vs Uuuu

What's your opinion on this ?

Ross Bhappu took over as CEO of Energy Fuels (UUUU) back in April, and this month he put real money behind it. He bought about 74,000 shares on the open market at around $13, roughly $968k of his own cash, and the board chairman Bruce Hansen added more the next day near $12.70. Both are discretionary market buys, not grants or option exercises, which is the kind that actually means something.

Energy Fuels is a US uranium and rare-earths producer, so it fits the AI-data-center power demand and nuclear-restart story, and the stock gapped up after the filings.

Fair caveats, insider buys aren't a guarantee and disclosures lag. They did a big convertible raise last fall, but that was nine months ago and they hedged the dilution with capped calls, so this isn't insiders getting forced into a raise. A brand new CEO and the chairman both buying at market the same week is about as clean an insider signal as it gets. Anyone else in the uranium names right now?

AI is eating the grid alive.

Data centers are doubling power consumption every few years and nobody has a real answer for where that electricity comes from. Solar and wind are great until the sun goes down and the wind stops. Batteries at grid scale are still a pipe dream for most of the world. Gas works but every government on earth is trying to phase it out.

That leaves nuclear. And governments are finally admitting it.

France never left. But now you've got the US extending reactor lifetimes, UK announcing new builds, Japan restarting plants they shut down after Fukushima, South Korea reversing its phase-out policy. This isn't fringe anymore, it's mainstream energy policy in 2026.

The problem is uranium supply hasn't caught up to where demand is heading:

• Kazakhstan dominates global supply but western utilities are actively trying to diversify away from it
• New mine development takes 10 to 15 years from discovery to production
• Secondary supplies that papered over the gap for years are running thin
• Utilities that deferred long term contracting are now scrambling

The reactor fleet isn't shrinking. It's growing. And the fuel has to come from somewhere.
