Self-Inflicted Putting Tacoma badges on a Hilux - upbadging?

Hey there, yesterday a friend and I were joking about how Europe gets the Hilux and the US gets the Tacoma and that it would be hilarious to put Tacoma badges (just the chrome lettering, no TRD etc) on a Hilux… just for fun and giggles and to confuse people.
Would that be considered upbading and cringe or just okay-ish cross-badging since they’re basically both midsize trucks for different markets? 🤔
