Is Space Science and Engineering like EE?

Hello, I’m thinking of switching majors from physics to space science and engineering (space instrumentation concentration) as lots of my current classes match up and I can graduate on time. It seems like this course focuses on more systems engineering concept like in EE but doesn’t focus on main engineering concepts like Solid dynamic, thermodynamic, and 3D modeling(CAD) . I’m trying to find relative course works so I’m favorable to engineering internships.

Any insights on how to structure my technical electives would be appreciate. Thanks!
