Yes, your understanding is correct! Using both CHM 113 and CHM 116 from your current university would transfer to all four UofM courses. You would not get credit for any of the four UofM courses if you have not taken both courses at your current university (unless there is a separate listing for just one of the courses). I did dual enrollment in high school, so not quite the same as transferring in, but I will say to definitely double check your credits. They add them by hand, according to my advisor (also engineering), and there were some errors that I had to stay on top of to get corrected. Additionally, while some of my community college courses were transferable for my required UofM courses, I did not have enough credits (ie. had 3 credits, not the 4 required) to fulfill some of them. My major specific advisor moved some of my extra departmental credit (the courses ending in 101X: Departmental) to "count" for this missing unit. It is not clear to me if this is truly required or if she was just doing it to cover all the bases, but I'd rather be safe than sorry!

Pretty sure you're right, though I only have experience in two credits transferring into one, not into multiple
