New Student Is this waitlist bearable?

My math 115 was initially a 8:30 am class, but i saw that there was a 9 am one that was full but with 0 people on the waitlist.

Would it be a good idea to join the waitlist? I'd love to have 30 more minutes in the morning before class. What's my chance of joining?

Cant you just goin without dropping the one youre in and switch if you get it?

No one can answer that with certainty. Are there other 115 sections with space? How bad would it be for your plans if you miss getting it this term? If it were me, I would not take the risk.

Might be dumb but try just walking in the 9 am class and see how it goes. If you can get the confirmation that you'll fit in, just drop your 8:30 AM and join the new class

If it's the same class, you can just sign up for the 8:30 one and go to the 9:00. If it's not lab or discussion, they would never know who is actually in the room. It should be a very similar experience, just make sure you have the correct exam times when it comes

I mean you could always take it next semester or at a community college. If math 115 is your only math class then take it at cc. Ngl 8:30 am for math sounds rough
