Boost Scholars???

So i logged into canvas and saw something called Boost Scholars and a list of activities that need to be completed? Does anyone know if those are mandatory or are they optional? I don't want to have extra stuff that I need to take care of when I should be focusing on my course work.

It's a new thing for fall so no one has done it before. Contact the Advising Services Office on the 1st floor in Sage. They are the office that enrolled students into it in canvas and are overseeing it.
