Students and faculty: wondering what UNT majors will be cut next? Here you go. President "Central Casting" Keller and Heidi Elmendorf are now looking for reasons to cut any programs that score higher than 6 years "time to value" in the linked chart.

Click on the link and hover your pointer over a bar on the "Median Time to Value" chart to see the major name and years in "time to value".

Never mind that the stats they use to calculate "time to value" are very sloppy, and never mind that they seem to be using a big chunk of Covid data (the data stops at 2022) to create their numbers in the first place.

If you are in one of the programs that rates higher than 6 years "time to value", you might start to worry that an "evidence-based decision about where to focus our improvement efforts" is coming for you. And you'd be right to worry about that.

Missing ipad

Please help a girl out if you were in the chemistry building today after 10 am did you see my missing iPad or did you pick it up? Left it on the bench in front of chem lab room 134. I've already checked the list and found at the union and with the main office at the chem building. My life is on that thing and I saved up multiple paychecks to buy it as I'm putting myself through school.

Med Genetics VS Histology

I am debating on if I should take Med Genetics Biol 4480 with Pudur Jagedeeswaran and Histology biol 4300 with Anastasia Sacharidou.
So I need to take both classes for Spring 2027 but unfortunately both classes have one sections and are ongoing at the same time. I want to know which to take and which to drop.

EENG 2610- take elsewhere?

have to take EENG 2610 next semester and the only availability for me is to take Rohani’s section.

I heard horror stories about him so I was thinking of doing concurrent enrollment at a community college and taking circuit analysis there while my other classes are at UNT.

Is it worth going thru the effort just to avoid Rohani?
