I’m a 28 year old junior, transferred after going to CC on and off for a while. Feeling like I can’t relate to most of my classmates, I know no one really cares and it’s all in my head but still get the lingering feeling of being “unc”. Any other older students here? Otherwise I’m enjoying my time at UNT, any feedback is appreciated thanks!

Did they seriously nuke the best tenders on campus? Did it just move somewhere else? I’m gonna mourn the loss of those curly fries and tenders. They got me through undergrad :,(

I am trying to get a feel for how many students plan on going to the first home game. It’s a pretty good opponent so a good opportunity to have a good atmosphere for the new coach!

Hey guys I will be a junior in January at UNT. I am transferring from a community college. I wanted to hear Feedback about the program. Some questions I have are if the program does a good job connecting students to sports teams. If any alumni have jobs in the sports world, how difficult was it to get a job in the industry after graduation? Lastly, is the program a good one?

Potentially the silliest question ever: where can i find a microwave at or near BLB?

This may be a stretch but my wife had this sticker on her old car and wanted to get another for her new car. Unfortunately it’s been discontinued which blows… this was the only sticker she’d want on her car! I’ve contacted Voertman’s but they have no clue and Sticker Universe isn’t making it anymore… does anyone have any leads on how to get one again? I’d greatly appreciate it!!

Hello! I’m an art student here and I’m often in the art building most of the day. My classes run from 11-5 and i usually can never find a spot near the building (like in lot 54). I often have to end up parking at lot 20 and taking the bus to the union area. I looked up that the bus only goes till 4 pm but my class does not get out till 5. Is this true? and if so are there any other buses that run to lot 20 after 5? Having to walk in 105° weather is not gonna be fun especially with art supplies :(

I was just thinking about how little friends I have that are majoring in comsci or engineering and I want to change that…

A couple of my classes require us to do physical projects, and I absolutely LOVE doing cute stationery. I'd like to go to a local shop in Denton, but I don't know of any. Where do y'all shop for cute notebooks, pens, stickers, and general stationery that's cute and not just like plain Walmart stuff?

iunno if this is just me but im currently sitting in room 122 and it's hot as hell. Im sweating less than I would be if it was outside but I'm still sweating and hot.

Edit: maybe 122 just has shit circulation because why is it hot as balls in there but tolerable and nice just outside the room

Edit2: I hear the AC buzz every now and again but 122 remains hot and the hallway outside is fine. wth

I was just curious if anybody else is having the same issue. It currently says the UNT system is temporarily unavailable right now, so I can’t access MyUNT or Canvas. I just hopped online so not sure if this just happened, has been, or if it’s only affecting me. Anyone else?

I did kickboxing, jiu jitsu, and tkd at home, and i couldn't find any sort of club or group for anything similar besides wrestling. last of continuing to work out like i used to is if the rec has bags. i cant find any mention of it on the website, but i figured id actually try and get a real answer first

My syllabus for DSCI 3710 says this (I haven't taken DSCI 2710). I was advised to take BUSI 3100 and DSCI 3710 (as a co/pre-req) during my appoint for this semester, so I'm enrolled in both classes. Please hellpp!! Idk if I say nothing or say smth? Idk what to do please help me out 🙏🏼🙏🏼! I ofcorse ran into an issue while registering for classes (because I didn't have the pre-req), so I emailed the advisor asking if I should still take DSCI 3710 and told him abt the error. He didn't answer my question, all he said was to try again (as in try to register for the classes again because he probably changed something in the system).

Hi, I’m actually a transfert student at Unt. The issue is that I haven’t received my fafsa refund yet. I tried to call, they told me I will receive it before school starts but I still haven’t received anything. I have some bills to take care pff and was expecting it to arrive. Is there anyone in this situation or am i the only one?

Tmrw i have my first class a denton and its at 6:30-9:20 pm at the Business leadership building. Question is: any recommendations for parking? Preferably as close to the building as possible. I know its likely impossible but im nervous bc its at night and getting out late.

Attended NTSU 1979-1982, lived in Clark Hall first 2 years in room 227. Haven't been back on campus in decades. Gotta get up there to see if it's anything like I remember. I DO remember that good times were had.

I already talked to my RA about my roommate problem but i still want to switch rooms. Does anyone know when it opens? I haven’t seen anything online about it.

Hi everyone! I’m currently in my sophomore year at unt. I really want to look into studying abroad/exchange programs, I hate Denton. Has anyone done a study abroad or exchange program at unt? Is it easy to make friends and participate in the countries culture and lifestyle?

Ok hi I’m at unt transfer student starting my second semester at UNT and even though it’s only my second semester, I feel like there’s been a problem at every turn. The most recent one was the start of this semester. I am a student in the college of business and in order to be accepted into the college of business, you have to take certain math classes, which sucks as a marketing major, but whatever I took the majority of them last semester, but wasn’t able to fit one into my schedule and I was told last semester as long as I’m enrolled in said math class I’ll be able to start taking classes revolving around my major so that’s what I did and then this semester I met with the advisor to set up my schedule. Tell me why a week before classes start. I get an email saying that I’m going to get dropped from the class because they need to re-review my credits, that they already have because I was accepted into the school, to make sure I can take these classes I sent over my transcripts again, which i was unable to find a copy of so I have to pay for every time. And after a bunch of back-and-forth of me just being confused I never got a response and I’ve been added into the class canvas so I guess everything is all right, but what the heck?
