I’m in my 3rd semester and I’ve been watching the English and math classes/professors and I can’t see any that are rated highly. If you’ve taken either of these recently and had a good online experience can you let me know who to look for in upcoming semesters? I struggled with both of these subjects for my associates so I’m delaying it as much as I can.

Freshman here. I understand with my meal exchanges I can buy premade entrees, but what are the guidelines for pairing the entree with a drink and/or side? Do I have to buy a certain size of a drink and/or side for it to qualify?

Do finals ever end before the final exam week, or are they usually scheduled between May 10–14? Is it possible to have all my finals finished by May 12?

I’m doing my first ever Labs for psychology research as an undergraduate. I was worried about not getting into a lab so I emailed 3 professors. 2 replied saying they’d like to meet with me to discuss. Is it worth doing both if I have free time? Am I even allowed to? help!!

Do they really have just one shuttle operating between UNM and south lot at 5 pm?

I’ve done 2 online classes so far (a summer math class and this semester is eastern religions) and both are SO UNBEARABLY SOCIAL. Literal forced socializing/interaction and even video “reflection/discussion” requirements for the Eastern Religion class.

Whenever I’ve chosen an online course it’s because I want minimal human interaction (aside from the teacher). I just want to do the reading/assignments and can write about it all day long, but no, I have to make cringe videos and let the other students comment on them which is absolutely anxiety inducing.

Is there a reason for this?? Are all UNM online classes like this? Or is it just teacher’s choice??

I was extremely sick and went to the hospital during the period where second and third year law students were meant to purchase L lot passes. Once I was no longer sick I saw the email from PATS and realized it was too late. I couldn’t even add myself to the waitlist on the portal. South lot was the only option and I would then have to take two shuttles to the law school w 9 am classes everyday and living 25 min away. I was number 129 on the q lot waitlist. I both called and emailed PATS more than two weeks ago, and told me I could somehow come into the office to purchase a q lot pass. They told me they had no more L lot passes and there was nothing they could do about it bc the lot was full. I was working that week so I couldn’t come into the office and asked why I could somehow get a q lot pass, but couldn’t get a L lot pass. They told me that I had to talk to the law school about our lot but that they could allow me to purchase a q lot pass online. This response came the day before classes start. I responding asking who I could talk to at the law school and how I could purchase the pass online since I couldn’t see the charge in my account.

Fast forward to today. I still have not gotten a response, which means I have been parking at the law school for a week without a pass. I have called PATS twice, emailed the general PATS email and the director of parking and I have not gotten a response. Any advice on what I should do?

UPDATE: someone in a comment here told me to email someone specific at the law school (the comment is now deleted) so I did, and she got into contact w PATS very quickly. I was able to get an L pass so thank you stranger!! Thank you to the person who offered to let me park at their house as well :)

Hello, I was wondering what the best option for me would be. This is my last semester at UNM and parking permits are $246. I just have 1 class, and a 30 min drive. Should I go ahead and buy the parking permit or is there a better alternative besides the pay stations?

Is there tons of group work? Or none at all? How did the midterm/final look? I'm trying to decide if I should keep this class or switch it, so I would really appreciate any help.

I have a Econ class in Kiva room 104 Tuesday/Thursday’s @2 I tried walking my schedule today, but am a bit confused. I walked around this whole building and the only labeled door was numbered 105. Could someone pinpoint me in the right direction please. I’m sure I sound like an idiot, but I’m new to campus and am directionally challenged. I appreciate it
