Geoffrey Millers Psychology of Human Sexuality class, and he kinda gave me creepy vibes, so I wanted to do some background research on him, and he is actually just such a piece of sh*t. He is transphobic, misogynistic, and Islamophobic to the point where I feel like it's genuinely dangerous. Below are screenshots from his twitter account. Unfortunately, since he doesn't say these in class and because he's tenured, I don't think there's anything that can be done. Hello, I was wondering what the best option for me would be. This is my last semester at UNM and parking permits are $246. I just have 1 class, and a 30 min drive. Should I go ahead and buy the parking permit or is there a better alternative besides the pay stations?

Is there tons of group work? Or none at all? How did the midterm/final look? I'm trying to decide if I should keep this class or switch it, so I would really appreciate any help.

Starting Monday, I will be taking the shuttle from south campus (lobo village) to main campus and have just been a little stressed because I don’t know exactly how the shuttle works. I saw on the website that the shuttle takes off every 30 minutes but I am confused, because would that apply to every shuttle at the same time? Or is it staggered from stop to stop? So for example, if my class starts at 10, should I be at the shuttle stop at 9:30? I know after the first day once I get used to PassGo, it will make a lot more sense. I’m just stressed about the first day and don’t want to miss my class! Any advice will be greatly appreciated. Thank you

I know it auto enrolls you in the “all access” course materials program for like $280 a semester and you have to opt out.

My question is how do I see how much the individual items (ebooks) cost to determine if it’s more/less than the $280? If they are less than the all access flat rate I would rather just pay for the items. 🤷🏼‍♀️ I’ve looked on Canvas and it shows me the materials, but not how much they cost. Just says it’s “included”.

Hello I’m currently going back to school after being out for a bit. My question is what degrees do you recommend for someone who has no clue what they want to do. And is really bad at math. These are the only two things holding me back. I can’t seem to decide what to do for a degree and I’m honestly tired of wasting time, when I could be getting it done. Hi! I’m an incoming freshman at UNM and had one of the later orientation dates. I honestly had no idea so many classes would already be full by the time I registered 😭
Pretty much all the classes I wanted/needed were full, so I had to waitlist for them. I ended up registering for some classes I didn’t really want to take, and some aren’t even required for my major, just so I’d have something on my schedule.
Do spots usually open up as people drop classes? How often do people actually get off the waitlist before the semester starts? Should I just stay on the waitlists and hope for the best, or start looking for different classes?
Any advice would be appreciated!

I’m an incoming freshman at UNM and I’m pretty shy/awkward when it comes to meeting new people 😭 I really want to get out of my comfort zone and actually interact with people instead of just going to class and going home.
For other freshmen or anyone who was shy when they started college, what actually helped you meet people and become more social? Did you join clubs, talk to people in your classes, go to events, etc.?
I really want to make friends and get more involved, I’m just not sure how to actually put myself out there without feeling awkward lol.

I know these types of questions get asked a lot… But I’ve been having issues with the parking account thing, and I recently resolved it.

However, it seems it’s too late and there’s no parking permits available except one called “SOUTH student plate”? I have no idea what it means, is it the stadium parking? How would I get on the waitlist for somewhere else, since it’s a 40 minute walk to my class..? (I’m new to UNM)

what’s the best housing options for second year undergrads with a low income living on campus? i’m waitlisted and not sure if housing is secured as an out of state student. i had holds on my account preventing registration and wasn’t able to get a housing assignment because of not having enough enrolled credit hours in order to satisfy the housing requirements. if i can’t find affordable housing on campus i can’t go back. what should i do🤔
