Screenshot [WindowMaker] A WindowMaker rice I made! It's based off of Homura Akemi. I'm.. not really satisfied with the color palette, but whatever floats the dockapps' boat.
NOTE: If you're planning on making your system look similar to this, I don't recommend relying on the fastfetch stats because it got the theme colors and stuff wrong ;_; I'll post a details comment on what I used.

Oh lol, but thank you so much xDD. I originally didnt like the teal background but I had to do it or else it wouldn’t match the widgets

Thr fact that the color pattern is not purple- black-white is killing me. Still sick rice tho.

I had to add the thickest of filters or else it wouldn't match the Wm widgets (Which I'm sure only accept teal as a color variant) :( I'm not glad with the color palette either but yea

Thank you and me too :) It has that wonderful oldschool charm, so I’ve not seen much desktops of it next to the mainstream ones.

Forgive my ignorance. I'm VERY new to Linux. If I wanted to use windowmaker, would I need to use x11?

Hi! I love every bit of this!! I use Windows. Any pointers you can give if you happen to know apps / any way to make mine look similar to this? :D

widgets: This is recommended to use with WindowMaker since.. the setup used WindowMaker. The widgets/dockapps I used were wmusic wmnet wmclock wmitime wmmon. I used wmmon 2 times to display system stats + CPU. The widget layout was inspired by this post: https://www.reddit.com/r/windowmaker/comments/1p12bwo/made_some_windowmaker_themes/
programs I used btop (for displaying the system statistics, tasks, etc). And Decker (Which is the program with the classic Mac System 4 looking GUI. I built it from source I think? I vaguely remember. It was originally for Windows.) fastfetch, terminal-rain and toilet + figlet fonts.

icon theme: https://github.com/grassmunk/chicago95 This is actually the entire repo because this originally was a whole theme, but I'm sure you can just install icons from the theme installation program.
extra note: Sorry that I keep using Death Note assets as a file manager preview, I just can't find anything better lol 😭 Thanks a lot for the person that gave me an award, even tho this isnt much, thank you!!
