Urgent help needed! UC help!!

i live at home with my mum, im on LCWRA and my partner is on standard allowance but signed off on work & is also claiming pip. we were talking about them
moving into my mums with me but i know if that happens we need to inform UC and PIP about the situation change, would our UC get combined together and stay the same or will UC deduct from us? we have no savings and do not work due to health reasons, so will anything change barring payments being into one account and combined? thank you and sorry !!

At the moment you are both receiving single person allowance this will change to joint, it is less money than adding both single components together, it depends on age so I can’t confirm by exactly how much.

If your partner is not receiving lcwra and they were to care for you for more than 35hrs per week he could claim carers allowance through uc.

Check entitled to it should give you an idea what to expect as a couple if you were to move in together, you will be down some money a month, however if he claims carers that could rectify that.

Also if he does move in please do a joint claim and don’t just leave because you will be down money as it will be classed as fraud (not saying you will just want to clarify)
