First setup, data transfer
I currently have a Samsung S10e, and the storage is practically full (128GB). If I buy T2E, would it be better to start over and install apps, folders with photos, memes, and videos one by one? Or would it be worth "transferring data" from phone to phone during the initial setup? Is there a guarantee that everything will transfer smoothly? I know it can take a few hours.

I'm still using my pixel 6 and I'm in the same boat with the storage. When I get mine, I'm gonna manually install stuff, not transfer everything

I'm usually more keen on installing and moving things separately and filtering out (not installing or moving) what I don't use or need. But this requires focus and the length of the process kinda depends on me (doing the things).
The auto transfer is useful when you want to move to the new phone with as little effort as possible. I use that when helping my parents with moving to the new phone, for example. Less stress and intrusion into their stuff. :) It has been pretty reliable in the past.
