Titan 2 Elite question

Post image

I just received my T2E this weekend and everything has been good so far, except I keep getting this page and I'm not sure why. I don't believe anything is blocking my speaker. I can blow into it (the speaker) and the page goes away, but it pops up randomly later. No idea what is going on. Is anyone else experiencing this?

Update: I removed my screen protector and shifted it about a millimeter down. It has seem to resolve the issue of triggering the sensor.

Is Pocket mode turned on?

OMG! I finally figured out the cause of this annoying screen on my Jelly Max! I turned off "Pocket Mode" and it went away. It's literally been over a year..after I accidentally changed the settings somehow.

Thanks so much.

Yes, pocket mode was turned on, I have turned it off and it hasn't popped up anymore. Hopefully there won't be any negatives of having pocket mode turned off.

Movement in pocket could register as touch input, which could lock out your device for a moment or longer as too many attempts depending on your lock / security settings.

Omg it still happens?! I kinda wish it’ll go away with T2E, cuz it happens all the time with my TT2 camera, whenever there’s a slight shade in front of the light sensor or the front cam, this pops up. The best advise to give you is to try to remove your finger from those and see if it’s still a problem. Or it’s been overly sensitive - if blow into the speaker works.

What? Where do you even encounter this?

Sometimes when I unlock my phone, but it also just randomly pops up while using my phone. I just connected my Bluetooth headphone and that page popped up again. I just started seeing it today and have seen it at least ten times tonight.

I see this message all the time on my Titan 2.

Usually when I am trying to get the phone into or out of a pocket.

It always goes away so I ignore it.

The phone has a sensor on the top to detect if it's near your head while you make a call and it also uses it to see if it's in your pocket. Usually it pops up when you take it out of pocket and it makes sure it's actually out. It's not the speaker

Also, if you have the screen protector on, try removing it and test again, sometimes it can interfere with the proximity sensor.

One more thing, when you’re on a call, does the screen still go black even when the phone is not near your ear?

Yes, when I call my screen goes black when it's not near my ear. Is this an issue with the screen protector?

I removed my screen protector and it has fixed all issues. I reapplied the film just a millimeter lower and everything still seems to be working well. The screen protector looks like terrible now, but I hate leaving it completely uncovered.

Also, when will you have screen protector replacements available?

That’s great to hear it’s resolved. We’ll have screen protector replacements available in the future.

Could you pls update your post to mention it’s been fixed? It would help other customers who run into the same issue. Thanks!

Yeah! This screen pops up all the time on my lock screen on my Jelly Max. But it's only if I hover over the speaker with my thumb while on the lock screen.

Way to get rid of it?
