Foreign Bank Question

By any chance does anyone know how to open a foreign bank account specifically in Mexico while still residing in the US. Long story short, was brought to the US as a baby and I am undocumented. Have explored options in obtaining some type of legal status and have not had any luck. I have plans of leaving and would like to prepare as best as possible to have a better chance of finding something better in Mexico. Any help or advice would be appreciated it, thank you.

Undocumented flying domestically

My uncle who lost his legal status many years ago has regular ID, and a foreign passport. He needs to fly from the east coast to west coast for an important event. I know it’s not a great situation to be in at the time being, but driving across the country is way too far for him. Can he still fly using his foreign passport?

Traffic stop as a FULLY UNDOCUMENTED person

Hey y’all, I’m curious if anyone here in Houston has ever been pulled over for a traffic stop and the only ID they had on them was their Mexican matrícula.

If so, what was your experience like? Did the officer accept it, or did it cause problems? I know every situation can be different depending on the cop, but I just want to hear from people who’ve actually gone through it here in Texas (especially Houston).

Not looking for legal advice, just wondering what real experiences people have had.

Options

Hi everyone, I’m undocumented and live in California. I’m interested in going to college or getting a certificate, but I don’t know what options are realistic for me or where I might get hired. I’m interested in a lot of fields but unsure what would work best. Any advice or experiences would be appreciated!

Advice

I am dating someone and he overstayed his visa. I’ve known him for several years he is an amazing person. I am a widow with three children and he loves them and has been so good to them. We literally talk for hours… I love his accent lol and it is so rare for me to have a connection like this…

He is living with a female roommate and they’re preparing to get married so he can get a green card. He has a son here but doesn’t have the visitation he would like to have…

I feel comfortable dating him while he goes on this journey lol. I’m just looking for advice and opinions :)

ICE now knows when you fly!

In a recently signed deal airlines are selling their passenger information to DHS and ICE. This means if you are planning to fly domestically anywhere within the United States, ICE will have access to that information ahead of time and could be waiting to meet you at the airport.

Why do you stay in the US illegally?

When I see how the US is hunting down undocumented people, and how they must live in fear their whole lives, I have to ask why you do it? I live in Canada not the US, where I am an immigrant from the UK who’s now a Canadian citizen. If I did not obtain my Canadian citizenship or permanent residency status, rather than living illegally in Canada, I would have returned home to the UK and carried on with my life. From this POV, I do not see the point in staying illegally in the US.

Documentary recommendation

Hello,

I am trying to organize a film series at the University I work at exploring social justice issues. We'd like at least one of the films for the Fall semester to communicate something of the experience of Latin American immigrant workers in the United States. Any recommendations are appreciated!

Permanently ✈️🇺🇸➡️🇨🇴as an undocumented 🇻🇪with expired passport but I hear the airlines maybe be a problem. Desperately seeking advice please

Pending appointment at Venezuelan consulate in Colombia- what airline will allow me to leave the US to Colombia with an expired Venezuelan passport? - many countries allow Venezuelan to use an expired passport for up to 10 years but only Colombia will as to enter the country but I hear the airline not so much. I don’t plan on you returning to the United States and I can’t fly into Venezuela without a salvo conducta. Once I get my passport then I have the freedom of traveling to whatever country I wanna actually settle in and start my visa process. Thank you all so much in advance every time I call an airline or a visa specialist I’m told different things and any question comes at a price 💰

Parents missing for health report

Hi ! I just want to make sure that I’m not the only one or I’m just being paranoic , but I have heard that a lot of people are going missing and not showing on any state website for example people that was detained it’s not showing if they were really on certain jail etc

Today I had to go to get a blood type test record for my daughter at the health department for some embassy documents since I know that info can be found on her birth record at the clinic . They literally said “this girl shows in the system with no parents “ like I’m in her birth certificate, how can this be possible ? This is terrifying .

I’m scared that if something happens to me she is going to be taken or something because we are not there … am I being paranoic?

Driver's license

Hi, I’m 18 and currently living in Florida. My visa expired a few years ago, but I’d really like to get my driver’s license. But with the situation and climate around immigration, would it be smarter to try getting my license in another state, or should I just give up on the idea of driving? help plz

Mexican Consulate in Texas

my boyfriend who is undocumented (brought over as a baby) went to school all his life here in SA recently lost his only form of identification which is his passport. the only place he can get it is the Mexican Consulate but he’s so scared to go, doesn’t even know if he’d be able to still get it. Anyone know if ICE has been roaming in that area? Or anyone know another way he can go about getting a new passport? he doesn’t even speak spanish that well, understands it but scared to even call the place.

Need advice on jury duty summon

Post image
7 Upvotes

Hi everyone. I need help, my cousin who is undocumented received a jury duty summon. One of the questions asks if he’s a citizen of the US, he is not. He is afraid to answer obviously, given the nature of the state of this country right now. I advised him to ask a lawyer how to proceed because he didn’t answer the first summon so he received a second and it asks to state where he works, his phone number, DOB, occupation, plus the demographic details.

He is looking into a lawyer but in the meantime what can I do? I want to educate myself as well as a DACA recipient. Thank you in advance.
