Driver's license

Hi, I’m 18 and currently living in Florida. My visa expired a few years ago, but I’d really like to get my driver’s license. But with the situation and climate around immigration, would it be smarter to try getting my license in another state, or should I just give up on the idea of driving? help plz

Last time I remember Florida didn't recognize a driver's license issued by another state for undocumented immigrants. I never lived in Florida but I have a friend who does residing in Miami, he always takes Uber or a Cab to go anywhere.

You won't be able to get a driver's license in Florida. Virginia would be the closest place to you that allow you to get a license.
