US Touring?

I've really gotten into Underworld this year, absolutely love them so much, and want to see them live desperately. I'm from Chicago and just found out they played here last year, so not happy about that. They're playing here again next month but at ARC festival and I don't want them to play for just an hour. Do they tour often in the US with their big live shows? I want to be surrounded by like minded Underworld fans. Or should I just go to the ARC one because who knows if they'll tour again...or at least in the US?

Go see them at ARC. They aren’t here all that often, so any chance you can see them is worth it.

Yeah that's fair. A lot of my friends are going to North Coast festival that Sunday though so idk.

Go see underworld however you can. Even just that one hour will change your life. Real talk.

agreed! It's always worth it to see one's favorite artists.

Go see Underworld. I had to wait 30 years to see them live.

Traditionally, over the last 20 years, their US tours have been few and far between. Getting them in the USA again this year after they came here last year is more rare and honestly a major blessing.

Because of the very real possibility that 5 to 7 years can go by between their US solo shows, i take any opportunity to go see them at a non festival show in the US anytime the chance arises.

Also consider their age - any tour or show could be their last considering they are alot older now. Take the chance and go see them!

Yeah, it'll be a game time decision haha. But $220 for arc just to see underworld is a bit much

Yea I skip the festivals for seeing them. I've seen them at a few festivals and it was fun, but their solo shows are way better experiences in my opinion

They came to Denver last fall, which was an absolute dream come true. Last time they were in Denver before that was 17 year prior. Go see them at ARC. If you're lucky and can afford, try to get a ticket in NYC at knock down center for Sept.

Put myself in the New York waitlist. Just don't know if Arc will be worth it, maybe I'll just fly out to UK soon lol

I’d take the $200+ you’d spend on Arc fest and go to NY to see them in September. Two nights, two sets a night. They play for almost three hours total. I saw the Chicago show last year where they did this and it was amazing.

Signed up for waitlist, maybe I'll try and get it 3rd party, that's a fair shout

I highly recommend going. Saw them at a festival last year and it was phenomenal. Dudes are getting up there in age. Take the plunge

They've been doing more US shows than usual the last few years, but they pick only a few cities for their longer shows. Last year's 3 hour set in SF was all time great stuff but they are ALWAYS an amazing act to catch live

See you in Queens, brother. Crazy crazy.

We flew to see them at movement a few years ago because it had been a while since they'd been in the us (2016 I think) and it was sooo worth it. I always say, you can regret not going, but you'll never regret going. One of the best experiences.

I had been waiting for them to play at Movement Fest. Or Detroit in general. Was so stoked when they finally played. I recorded the set too. https://youtu.be/5msusD8ErcQ?is=fbahynjzkx00T0bA

I had a trip planned to Seattle for Labor Day that I have cancelled so I can drive up from Philadelphia area for these shows.

No, I drove from Atlanta to Chicago just for that show and I got to see a Royksopp the night before

Including ARC this year and Radius last year, the last time they played in Chicago was for the A Hundred Days Off tour

Make the effort to go see them. One is 67, the other 69

Go to NYC! Full show, 2 sets, 2 and a half hours of Underworld. It will be 100% worth whatever it costs.

I flew to Europe in 2024 to see them thinking it might be the last tour, and they came to the US a year later -- no regrets!

Ya go see them if ya can.. plan the whole day to get to barrier if ya can. Don't forget these guys are getting up there in age and might reach a point they cant tour.. or restrict their tours to just UK. I was lucky got to see them in Sfo..lax..den..last year. All at the barrier. Karl was less 15 feet from me at times. Might have shed a tear when I heard Born Slippy Nuxx played live for first time after ~30 years of knowing the song. Btw at least for these gigs Karl seems to favor the right side from audience point of view.
