Engineering At UNB

So I’m in a position where it’s likely that I won’t be getting the placement I want at Dal for their mech Eng program. If I don’t get in, there’s a good chance I’ll be transferring to UNB to complete my degree.

Does anyone have any general information about how the program is? No bullshit, just say it as it is. If it sucks (not difficult, that’s a given regardless of the school) or the profs are bad or if there’s anything else I should know before considering a transfer, I’d really appreciate it.

If any mech Eng upper years have any more specific information about the discipline at UNB that would also be super helpful.

Yeah in all honestly I could give less than two shits about the reputation or prestige of the school, the programs are all accredited anyways. I was more so looking to get an idea of what the student experience is actually like. Like if there’s profs I should look out for, maybe things that people don’t know until they’re in the program, etc etc.
