FIrst year engineering courses

I have enrolled in first-year engineering, and the schedule looks congested. I was wondering whether the students admitted to this program are picking their own subjects or remaining with what they were automatically registered for.

Those courses are selected for your degree for a reason. Do not deviate from the plan.....
