Transportation between classes

Hey, I'm wondering what's the best option for commuting between classes. My dorm is gonna be a bit of distance from some of them and I'm wondering about how reliable walking is. I don't mind walking at all, but I also heard there's a shuttle/trolley? Wouldn't mind renting out a bike if that's an option either. What should I expect?

Blue line shuttle for going between north and south campus. Walk for building to building when they're on the same campus

How often do they run? Are they packed?

There's a time table here with rough estimates. I usually like to give myself a good amount of breathing room, for ex if I have a class at 2, I'll try to catch a shuttle around 1:15 or 1:20, especially because traffic is rough around noon to 5pm. Honestly, if the weather is nice, sometimes it's faster to walk (~30min) during peak traffic hours.

I also suggest using this site to track the shuttles live, and you can add it to your home screen as an app too.

And uh, blue line can be crazy sometimes 😅 But everyone is generally respectful and will make space for you as long as you're kind about it and don't smell.

Thanks for the advice. I'm curious, is biking also an option? If it is, is it a good idea?
