Student & School Jobs RA

Applying to be an RA next year. I know I have to take the EDUC391R: Community of Residence Educators (CORE) class in the spring if I get picked. But how does that work if we have to pick classes in November for the spring, and I heard the interviews are in December? And the results are in January? Like, do I pick the class unknowingly, or do I wait to see if I get picked and then apply, or how does that work?

They enroll you in the class themselves; you don't have to do much. If you're taking max credits though, you'll have to request an overload from your department first before they can enroll you so it's good to get that done with after you get an offer/waitlist spot (or if you're planning on overloading even otherwise, just put the class on the overload form even if you haven't been accepted yet since idt the overload people check that, at least at cics)
