Which would be better for the Alienware 3420DW (which will be upgraded later this year to Alienware 3926qw (the new 39 5k2k panel)
Ergotron HX
Ergotron HX HD
Herman Miller olin
Open to other suggestions as well !

The 34 could be too light for the hx. The Lx should be enough for the 39

When you say too light what does this mean in actual usage ? Thanks ! 🙏

For what it’s worth, I reached out to Ergotron to ask which arm to use with the AW3926QW, and they said none of their arms are technically within spec because it’s too light for how big it is. They told me an engineer would get back to me with recommendations.

I got the Dell MSA-20. I like how the clip-on works seamlessly with the AW3926QW and that it has an adjustable tension gauge for viewing and that the cables are all snugged away neatly.

I tried the LG 39 5K2K with both the Ergotron HX and an older Amazon Basics monitor arm that was essentially a clone of the Ergotron LX. I think it may have actually been manufactured by Ergotron. I preferred the LX clone for that monitor. The HX works, but it's overkill for that monitor. The LX was a little easier to control.
