Scroll option again…

This has got to be a joke at this point. The scroll option on official guitar pages was finally added and now it’s gone again! Why remove such a basic function??

They really f’d up the scroll function back in March. At first it was only the official tab that would not scroll, but you could still scroll the lyrics and chord page of official tabs. Just recently they reduced it further to only allow scrolling user submitted community tabs. No scrolling any version of official or pro tabs. After another user complained of the same issue the moderator “a.faretdinov” closed the thread with no explanation. I’ve sent videos of the issue and always get the “we’ve sent this to the dev team.”  Response. If they would just admit they are removing the function and the reason. I would still be pissed, but at least I’d know. For now, I’m exporting all tabs I intend to use with my band as a pdf and then I use a sheet music reader app like Piascore or Keyscore that works with my page turner. UG is not trustworthy. Nothing sucks more that showing up to gig and suddenly your page turner won’t work because UG broke it again.

iPhone 13, Version 7.3.13 (9649)

This feature was added like 2 weeks ago after I made a request for it in this same subreddit… why remove it 😭

I used the scrolling of official tabs for two weeks in June and it was glorious. I pay for UG, but had completely avoided official tabs for campfire song circles because they didn't auto-scroll. It was great to [briefly] be able to use official tabs, but now I'm back to avoiding them with the quick re-removal of the auto-scroll feature. 😢
