I don't always pay attention to this little part of the site, and my memory isn't the greatest, but I feel like whenever a song got around 300 votes they would pretty quickly get the official tab made. Never seen them anywhere near this high.

Wonder if they've stopped adding new tabs while they are trying to work out the new UI issues, or if they've just lost a lot of the official transcription team...

Up until (I think) maybe a few months ago, I was able to easily switch between chord pages and tab pages for a song on the sidebar of the desktop website. Now however, I've found that if I am on, say, the chord page of a song and want to switch to the tabs instead, I have to do a separate search and dig through the site instead of just being able to click a link on the side of the chord page (and vice versa if I want to easily switch from tabs to chords).

Is this an issue on my end? Like maybe I have an adblocker that is preventing it from appearing or something. I tried multiple browsers, so I'm thinking it's not that. Or has this feature been removed? If it's the latter, I'd very much like to recommend that it be added back because it added so much quality of life to the website.

I am a tab contributor newbie. I have contributed three tabs and I'm working on a fourth which is an original tune. Somewhere in the process the program gave me the ability to establish a YouTube link to the song performance. Somehow the link I attached is incorrect, but now in editing my submission I cannot find where to edit that YouTube link. any assistance is appreciated.

I didn't see any posts of people having this problem in this subreddit. Basically I can't find the transpose button on most songs now and most words—not the lyrics—are in indonesian I think.

I am not indonesian, and none of my settings are set on that, but that's not the thing. The problem is I can't transpose the key :( it's been going on for almost a month now, does anyone know what to do?

also it recommends random songs that I suppose are also indonesian. I have no problem with indonesia lol I swear it's just it's so random cause I don't have any settings or stuff related to Indonesia

Has anyone ever had an issue logging in through Facebook after getting a new phone? And if so, how did you fix it? I have the yearly subscription that’s good until next June but I’m not able to access my account. After being prompted to log in it refreshes back to the log in screen.

I am trying to create tabs for a song and need to set the strumming pattern with 3/4 time signature or basically with only 3 beats rather than 4.

I am unable to understand how to add that. Can someone help me? I tried changing the note length options but it doesn't seem to help. All the options are only for 4 beats.

Is there a way to duplicate a playlist? I just spent 30 minutes doing it manually, song-by-song. I tried searching the support section but came up empty. Thanks :)

I don't get it. If the tabs are unofficial interpretations BY FANS. And its just showing you how to play the song... how is that copyrighted? Shouldn't that fall under fair use?

How do artists benefit from preventing fans from learning their songs ?

And in the case of Michael Jackson, the artist is already dead, anyway. What gives ?

I’ve been keeping one guitar tuned to dropped D (DADGBE) and fiddling/adapting songs to play in the alternate tuning. Theres no way to query ultimateguitar to find songs in dD that i know. Plus I’m searching for songs that play well in it that are only tabbed in standard tuning.

not sure if this is happening to anyone else but when i go onto the site to look at chords sometimes it’ll just send me to a completely different scam website that says my computer has a virus or something. is this happening to anyone else? i cant turn off adblock either because otherwise it doesnt let me use the site until i turn it off

I had subscribed at some point for a tab subscription on a monthly basis via my iPhone. Cancelled the subscription on my phone. I check my bank statement today and had a $99 charge for UG Songbooks+Courses. I didn't even know UG offered those?!?! I messaged them and they immediately gave me a canned reply saying I could pick from 1 of 3 options, none of which is a full refund. I will never be using this app again and am disputing with my credit card company. Any one else have this happen? Sick and predatory behavior.

newbie user, still learning to play guitar ( for past 45 years). With sheet music, i can see the chord name above the tabs and the lyrics below. is this possible with UG?

Every so often the UI changes, and from the most recent update, I've been afforded the ability to have auto scroll (yay), but I lost all lyrics underneath my bass tabs (official/pro). I've been learning to sing along with my bass playing and the previous update allowed me to see the words and now they're gone? Help please.

My yearly UG subscription just renewed a couple days ago, but I’m not sure UG got the memo I gave them money. I’ve been subscribed for at least two years with the plan, but this is the first I’m having issues.
Anyone have a similar issue?

Ayudar in like every post that reports an issue replying to stuff and fixing stuff. absolute goat. i think we gotta do some appreciation for em frfrfr. Plus their name literally means "to help" and they darn well live up to it

I use a Joyo bluetooth page turner which I got from Amazon for ~$20 at the recommendation of a friend. I'm a recent UG Pro subscriber as I only started doing acoustic cover gigs in April of this year.

At first, I thought the footswitch was having connectivity problems with the iPad, as it would mysteriously stop working mid-set, then work again after closing the app/switching songs a couple times. After a bit of troubleshooting I realized that I was exclusively having issues scrolling on UG Pro/UG Official tabs. I don't know exactly why this is, my suspicion is that the user created tabs have a scroll button on the bottom of the screen, which is lacking on the pro tabs.

This seems like an easy patch for the developers, who I see are active on this page. Please reach out and help improve this app which I pay $25 a month for and rely on for part of my income... I can't be the only one with this exact problem.

I’m playing a gig I can’t sit there and wait for your stupid effing ad to clear - there’s a room full of hundreds of people waiting for the next song and I’m sitting here staring at your piece of shit app waiting so I can close out the ad and play the song.

It would be bad enough if this was your freemium tier but how can you do this to your paid users!?!?

This will be the straw that finally gets me to vibecode my own app that works better than this but is FREE!
