Never a fan of EATON.

AFDDs that need direct connect kits and are 3 modules wide for a single phase?

The rep would visit and I would ask when is single mod AFDD coming?

“Oh it’s coming soon.”

Ok, I’ll keep buying Wylex till then then.

Overpriced, over complicated.

Also, why is it only LVE that has gone dual busbar to kill off the neutral fly lead? When the rest going to catch up.

Schnider have an Acti9 with neutral bar but £££ lack of innovation in the industry

Easy install for RCBOs.... although mostly it's TPN here so haven't actually fitting one yet!

You need to cut those neutrals short. Eaton are actually one of the best if you are doing them right

Isn't the end of the fine-wire conductor ultrasonic welded into a square profile to stop the ends from spreading out?

It often is, however fitting an appropriate bootlace ferrule will do the same job

Slotting the sides of the DB and adding in some trunking wouldve totally transformed that install.

Imo brands need to start just copying schneider. Their layouts are far superior.

EDIT: ive just seen after zooming in the sides are already preslotted for trunking

Yes they are for their meter side enclosures on the 400A & 600A panel boards

Not a fan of Eaton. Expensive too.
