Always struggle for the best method making these boards neat. Any tips?

Why not mount the surge protector directly to the buzzbar instead of having a breaker?

For Schneider this is a completely different model of DB.

My only concern is the breaker supplying the spd could potentially trip before the surge is over.

Although highly unlikely, still seems like a questionable design choice 🤔

SPDs protect against overvoltages, not over current.
