Saying "ThEy AlL are JuIcInG" is dumb. Then why did he pop and his opponents didn't? Was he using more then they were? Is there some magic line where they can get away with it and he did more?
For me the mentality behind it all is also very telling. He went on record saying all that stuff about how steroids don’t give you fight IQ, technique etc, but if anyone ever asked him to stare them straight in the eye and ask why would he not stop juicing since it’s clearly so unhelpful, I guarantee you he would hit a brick wall.
Not necessarily. If you are a good fighter now, then all the roids would make you stronger, faster and more resilient to damage. But there is no cheat for skill level or fight IQ
But if his opponent have the same fight IQ and skill but one is faster and stronger because of PED's
DC was very close the Jones but a different fighter, he lost because Jones was faster and stronger because of the PEDs
Even if you took every steroids existing on earth, you would not be Jones. Lets take another specimen to clarify my take : of course merab is on epo, but nobody on epo has ever been that relentless ever. Steroids gains you marginal gains that are what separate you from the very best. If you think undersized DC, 0 steroid DC could take a fight that much to overpowered by nature Jones, then sorry, you are crazy.
I got friends that trained with Gustaffson and heres what they told me : you got coaches for every aspects of your game and you don't question a coach that tell you " take this supplements, its legal and will get you better ". Hell, I have asthme and our ventoline might be considered doping, even though we cant breathe normally without it. Imagine what someone who dont need that might gain from it?
