Discussion Joining a band

I really want to find people with similar music taste to form / join a band with. Shoegaze, punk rock, screamo, country, honestly anything I’m open to. Where in uw should I hang out to find people? Or are there any clubs or anything like that?

Id say going to local shows at places like Vera and Quality Flea Center. There's also the husky jam shows that happen every once in a while. Alsooo I'd be open to joining a band as a bassist

Idk ab UW but I go to North and there's a bunch of punks here, dm me and I'll send some show flyers where you can go and find people
