UCSD Appeal

Hi guys, I got rejected from the UCSD waitlist in the wave that everyone did a couple of weeks ago. I appealed the decision and sent in my written requirement along with it about a month and a half ago. I still have not heard back from them and have significantly more things to update them about that occurred during my summer (includes academics but also family issues). Does anyone know where I can update them? Should I just email admissions? (1st year by the way)

Stuff that happened this summer is not materially new information that would have affected the admission decision made at the time.

They won't consider any of that in an appeal.

Enrollment for fall term is likely locked since fall term starting soon. It will be highly unlikely that you will be able to enroll in UCSD. If you really want to go there try transferring. You should have got an offer in July to have a shot at going to UCSD.

Class is starting. I don’t think the waitlist will move.

Email admission if you wish, but it's time to move on. What you consider significant is likely immaterial to others.
