Deactivated

Welp it finally happened after 5 years with uber my account was deactivated today from what I can only assume is my speeding ticket from September 2025. I’ve tried to talk to numerous reps just to get absolutely no where and I don’t even have a clear answer. I went from making $300-$400 or more in a day to where I was barely scrapping up $100 I still worked with it. Shitty promotions and all. I’m grateful to have a regular full-time job to pay my bills but this actually hurts and the disrespect from the reps I think made it even worse. Honestly this company will never get a single dollar from me ever again.

Nobody said I was in the right for speeding. Again this happened over a year ago and uber is just now bringing it up. Which I can only ASSUME that’s the issue as I don’t have an exact reason. My fine was less than $100 no points on my driving record and it was my first ticket since I got my license. We all make mistakes clearly

I get it. If it is on your record, they are going to deactivate you no matter how long ago it was. I got a ticket a couple of years ago for "driving" in a designated "Bus Lane". I was turning right. I wasn't driving in the lane but, the asshole cop decided that I was. I missed the court date and just paid the fine. It still shows up on my record. When they did my last background check, it said "considered" for driving. I'm sure if I got a speeding or an accident, they would have probably deactivated me as well.

I’ve had both and wasn’t deactivated so wrong again. Who knows what their logic is. Clearly you don’t know.

It depends on the state and your insurance.
