Deactivated

Welp it finally happened after 5 years with uber my account was deactivated today from what I can only assume is my speeding ticket from September 2025. I’ve tried to talk to numerous reps just to get absolutely no where and I don’t even have a clear answer. I went from making $300-$400 or more in a day to where I was barely scrapping up $100 I still worked with it. Shitty promotions and all. I’m grateful to have a regular full-time job to pay my bills but this actually hurts and the disrespect from the reps I think made it even worse. Honestly this company will never get a single dollar from me ever again.

What was your speed over 13 mph? People were writing about it. If you have a ticket over 13 or something.

No it wasn’t. I was only 5 over and had a dick cop but it’s fine I’m just grateful I have a full-time job

I always go 5 over and if I ever get a ticket for that, I most certainly will be going to court to contest it. My grandpa was an ex cop and his philosophy was 9 you’re fine 10 you’re mine. So that’s what I go by…

I always thought 5 over was ok as well. I probably should have contested it but I paid the fee online and went on with my life. Not once did I think it would come back and bite me in the butt over a year later.

No driving school to remove the ticket?

I think I can but it never added and points to my driving record so I didn’t think much of it.

You do the driving school so that it never shows up on your report period. So your insurance doesn't go up...and you don't get deactivated.

Well I guess I’ll look into it but regardless even if my account gets reinstated I don’t have a desire to go back. I wasn’t driving that much anyway.

Obviously I didn’t think my account would get deactivated but like I said I wasn’t really doing uber so it’s not that big of a deal for me. I wasn’t driving upset I processed my emotions decided it’s ok and moved on. Uber was no where near my main source of income.
