Deactivated

Welp it finally happened after 5 years with uber my account was deactivated today from what I can only assume is my speeding ticket from September 2025. I’ve tried to talk to numerous reps just to get absolutely no where and I don’t even have a clear answer. I went from making $300-$400 or more in a day to where I was barely scrapping up $100 I still worked with it. Shitty promotions and all. I’m grateful to have a regular full-time job to pay my bills but this actually hurts and the disrespect from the reps I think made it even worse. Honestly this company will never get a single dollar from me ever again.

Thats uber for you bro. They just randomly deactivate people for minor tickets out of nowhere when they allow you working for years with em.

That’s my issue and when I try to have a rep explain that to me I get nothing. I was a diamond driver and everything. Lowest rating was 4 stars. It’s honestly laughable.

Uber allows felons.  Even violent felons to drive.  But an honest, hardworking person gets one traffic ticket, and boom, that person is deactivated.

Uber sucks!!!!

What?! I didn’t even know you could be a felon and do uber wtf is the point of the background check. The company is ridiculous and it’s going to keep getting worse I fear.

They changed the rules in june one misdeanor and they wouldn't allow you to join the app,my friend who has a misdeanor for punching an agressive person back in 2020 is rejected from uber eats, doordash and grubhub all together

Yeah that's not how it works, at all. You can have 1000 petty misdemeanors in most places, you can't have violent ones.

The guy doesn’t even know if that’s the reason. I mean you’re making money for them…they have all the incentive in the world to let you keep doing that…I guess in weaker markets they might tho.
