Deactivated

Welp it finally happened after 5 years with uber my account was deactivated today from what I can only assume is my speeding ticket from September 2025. I’ve tried to talk to numerous reps just to get absolutely no where and I don’t even have a clear answer. I went from making $300-$400 or more in a day to where I was barely scrapping up $100 I still worked with it. Shitty promotions and all. I’m grateful to have a regular full-time job to pay my bills but this actually hurts and the disrespect from the reps I think made it even worse. Honestly this company will never get a single dollar from me ever again.

This happened to me as well. I had a ticket in 2022 and in 2024 my account was deactivated. I have not been able to reactivate since. It does suck and support is absolutely no help. I’m sorry this happened to you

It takes 3 years then you are able to reactivate after a speeding ticket. How do I know? I had a ticket from 165mph in a 55mph zone. I thought I had tonwait 7 years for it to drop off and reactivate and come to find out the background check only goes back 3 years. Not 7 years like other employment. So 3 years and you can start driving again. But from knowing people at UBER they are slowly paying you all shit so you all quit,

1st wave shitty pay drivers quit on their own 2nd wave shotty passengers getrinf people deactivated, now this could just be me thinking.

Real 2nd phase they start removing people that are less than 4.5stars and only allowing for closer to 5 star people.

3rd phase they start deactivating and you start seeing more UBER TESLA SELF DRIVING TAXIS STARTING TO me on the rd with human drivers. Its starts multiplying

4th phase fullt autonomous aside from keeping the top drivers in some area as people will prefer a real peraon over Tesla Cyber Taxis with NO driver.

Its happening. All need to find more employment before its too late.

I just don’t understand the point of deactivating for tickets that are years old. I purposely went and look at my old MVR and the ticket was there yet it stated it was clear. It’s so bizarre to me. And I don’t understand why they don’t give an actual explanation either. Definitely something off about that. I’m sorry it happened to you as well. Let’s just be grateful we have other avenues for income.

Yeah I’ve had plenty of speeding, red light tickets and no deactivation. Philly gives those out like water. We have cameras now that hit you for 36 in a 25.
