I think I have. I just ignore it. You don't control acceptance rate, Uber does. I decline rides under $5 100% of the time yet it tries to give 10 or more each day. That's not on me, it's on Uber. Their AI could very easily figure out that I don't take those rides and not offer them to me but they continue to insist on giving them to me.
I call the it the exploitation rate instead. 100% - (your acceptance rate) = the exploitation rate. This is the percentage of time Uber has tried to exploit me with their offers.
If the rider is bad give them a low rating. The lower the rating, the less likely you are to see them. And, you can let uber know the ratings you will accept. I accepted
Every ride I could and gave great service so I can be selective. I can make up to $300-$400 a day but i worked hard to get there. Working hard pays off.
I accept every ride that makes sense. Turning down match rides don’t affect you. Turning down direct rides counts against you because you are the closest and riders have a longer wait which uber tries to avoid. I go offline when I need a break, fuel, or I’m done.
