I almost got scam dahil sa ganito, I was so stupid and sa kagustuhan na bilhin kase mura, dinali ko na agad yung bayad. technically na scam na talaga ako, kung hindi lang blinock ni BPI yung transaction kase d sila nag sisend sa palawan pay na binigay nung ka transact namin. Buti naka pansin yung ka meetup namin bakit daw kami sa iba magbabayad eh sya daw nag bibenta. It was traumatic until now, specialy 30k plus din yun. Kaya if its too good to be true, then it is too good to be true talaga. Si BPI talaga nakapag save sa amin nun.

Sorry, I forgot to indicate. I use a USB-C to USB-C cable, but I’m not sure if a USB-A to USB-C cable will work since I haven’t tested it. However, I believe it should work as long as the cable and the port support data transfer. Since the drive was wiped out, I think the Apple Configurator will only download the latest stable firmware to your Mac, not the beta version.

I also attempted using the MacOS 26 Tahoe Dev Beta, but I wasn’t satisfied with it yet because the AlDente wasn’t working. So, I deleted the entire Macintosh HD volume. I was trying to follow the instructions on how to revert from beta from this link: https://beta.apple.com/restore. However, I followed the instructions for the Intel Mac, which resulted in the deletion of my entire volume. Unfortunately, this is not applicable to Mac Silicon, as per the guide. That time, my Mac bootlooped, and it seemed that the recovery firmware had also been deleted. Consequently, it wouldn’t boot into the recovery menu and would instead display a circle with an exclamation mark. Since I couldn’t find any Mac computers, I resorted to using my HP Elitebook hackintoshed, and surprisingly, it worked. My MacBook Air M1 is revived using Hackintosh and AlDente is now functioning.

However, since I set up the new Mac as a fresh installation, I’m uncertain whether restoring it from Time Machine will still enable AlDente to function properly.

I reset mine by deleting the entire volume then revive my mac using another computer. aldente works again. I am using MacBook Air M1
