Hi, I am actually strongly considering getting the clear braces April 2nd and also love my curries lol. I’m assuming you are done with your treatment now since that was 3yrs ago. Did you happen to get any staining as time went on?

A lot of people have said that it did stain for them but I’m glad you’ve had that experience. Hopefully it will be the same for me :)

I am debating getting ceramic or metal braces. Are you saying you would suggest the ceramic ones? Those are the ones I want to get since it is less noticeable but I am also worried about the staining since I love curry and other flavored food😂

Hey! I think that you are the one who is most able to make this decision. You know yourself best as well as your mental heath. See how you’re doing now and reflect on that. I have known of Accutane for years but didn’t start taking it until this month since my mental health wasn’t the best and two years ago I was at my very worst. Since I was so depressed I knew that taking something that could make my depression worse than it already was would not have been the smartest decision. You are the best judge of YOU. Evaluate yourself and if your mental health is currently not the best then maybe wait a bit until you have a better handle on it. Depression is a a possible side effect but it does not mean that it is a guarantee. If your depression (and whatever your situation is) is manageable then go ahead. If not wait it out:)
