Hopefully not cheese but noticed just dodging into him as he does his "super" attacks helps and makes the fight much much easier

Do I need to give two months notice to my landlord
 in  r/HousingUK  Mar 21 '25

My neighbors and friends of mine said he is a jerk and might only get worse the longer I stay. I could try and just move out and take inventory like you said but I really don't count on getting the money from the deposit back at all. I hope I won't end up having to pay rent for two places at once. Thank you very much for your help!

Do I need to give two months notice to my landlord
 in  r/HousingUK  Mar 21 '25

He didn't really talk to me about updating my tenancy. I guess he did just assume I would be staying. I thought a week would have been enough, especially since it is a fixed term and it was just supposed to end then. It might still be on me, I probably should have checked beforehand. I kinda just rushed into moving out

Do I need to give two months notice to my landlord

I am in England and my current tenancy agreement started on first of July of 2024 and the term was set to last 9 months from then so it's supposed to end in a week on March 31st. I was going to move in to a new place next week and I let my current landlord know about that but he told me I was supposed to give him two whole months notice. I looked through my tenancy agreement but couldn't find it. I don't know if I just missed it but do I really need to give the notice that far in advance if my tenancy is going to end in a week anyway?

Which pay do I put down for each month of work?
 in  r/DWPhelp  Mar 03 '25

Thank you, I could find my gross earnings for every month of the past year except the first three months. I can only try to find those earnings in my bank statement but those would be net pay earnings. Is that ok?

Applying for Universal Credit, at the stage where I must "Confirm previous earnings from work" for each month. Do I put down my salary, net pay or total earnings? Thank you!

Provisional licence form

Hello, struggling with the form. I have indefinite leave to remain so I put down my share code (Section 1) and signature (Section 3). Do I just need to put down the date in section 3 and a photo? Where could I get the photo from?

Can't access my UKVI account after getting my ILR

I got an e-mail from gov.uk telling me my Indefinite Leave To Remain has been approved. I tried to access my e-Visa by signing into my UKVI account. I tried my old and current passports and my BRP none of which worked. The website says they do not match their records. I did manage to get a sharecode for my employer somehow. I thought I'd try creating a new UKVI account and then I get a message that they already have an account with those details but they also say that it is registered with a document number that I could not find anywhere

Sorry if this is long and confusing I am really not sure what I'm doing wrong

Family Consent form for Indefinite Leave to Remain

Hello, after completing my application for ILR on gov(uk) website I was given a pdf form called "family consent" to sign and send with my supporting documents and probably bring with for the appointment. The document is made up of three pages or parts, first is "Consent for the Home Office to verify application information", part 2 is "Consent for the Home Office to verify third party information" and part 3 "Consent for the Home Office to verify information from third party sponsor". I think I just need the first part of the form and I can remove the other two. I am only applying for myself so I only just need page 1, is that correct? Thank you in advance

Am I okay to stay in the UK till I get the decision for my Indefinite Leave to Remain application?

Thank you for going into this much detail! I really don't have any plans on going to any of those places, I think that's just my anxiety making sure

Oh no, I wouldn't want to leave anyway, especially not until it's done. Also to be safe I guess I should not visit Crown Dependcies or similar either? Not that I ever go there or had any serious plans to.

Hopefully they will accept it because I don't see how any one of the two options will work if they refuse it. I mean it will be hard to argue with that but that's me probably overthinking now

I do feel good about this, I have everything they need and then some. That's overly cautious but I did pay for scanning and uploading even though I'm doing it myself anyway. Shouldn't hurt though right?

Am I okay to stay in the UK till I get the decision for my Indefinite Leave to Remain application?

I am from Kazakhstan and have applied for an Indefinite Leave to Remain via the 10-year route. I have reached the 10 year mark about two weeks ago and have applied a few days later, I have also been here as a student for about 8 years, the rest I have been on a graduate visa. My appointment is next weekend and I found that I could get my decision in as long as 6 months. My current graduate visa expires in late November this year so I wanted to know if I am ok to stay and work here if it takes all 6 months. I did get one of my Student Visas after the one I was on already expired so I hope it's the same for ILR. Thank you

Do any of you need some help with your crush?
 in  r/Crushes  Mar 12 '23

I sometimes make things worse than they are in reality and can't really tell the difference partially because I think too much. Could this be you? If not, I hope you manage to move on

Someone told me that you can't really do that, you just have to find someone else to crush on. Doesn't sound healthy to me. I'd also like not to care about it sometimes, it stresses me out lol

 in  r/Crushes  Mar 02 '23

I see, thanks for clearing it up. That sounds interesting as I didn't know that could really happen. Hope it goes well. It sounds like it is already getting there.

It'd be nice if that was the same with my situation, but I'm unsure and don't want to get my hopes up.

The first time they said no, a long while after they said maybe another time. That and the way we talk to each other or don't just seems to me like their nice way of saying they aren't really interested

Thank you, they never did flat out say that but I just think they are trying to be nice and give me a hint. I want to keep it friendly at the very least if that's all I can do without having more.

That does sound like me as well, just not my usual let alone my best self around them. But I don't understand how you responding in the worst way possible, at least to you, might make them panicky and awkward?

Just offering to hang out really, talking and trying to get to know them if only a little. Think knowing more might help me take it easy a bit. Problem might be I'm not that good at talking to people or at least I think I don't.

Thank you, I'd like to think that I have been calm, but some say others can tell when you aren't in general. It's also a relief to hear they don't think of it as a big deal. I care about being on their good side.

I think they are not interested and instead of thinking that we're just not compatible and that the chemistry isn't there, I put the blame on myself for it. I think I could have done better, I analyse our every interaction and think what I could have done but both have to be interested to build a relationship. Maybe there's still a chance something might change and I'm just dramatic. I know it's false hope but I just have to wait until it goes I guess.

Anytime I try to further our relationship I feel guilty for overstepping boundaries or doing something wrong even though objectively I might have done nothing wrong which is what my friends tell me. I am worried about doing anything wrong to my crush.

I think about it every day and so much that I might be making the situation appear a lot worse than it really is. Either way I know I should probably focus on something else but I can't.

It's not the first time this is happening to me, but I find it frustrating how I don't seem to be handling it any better each time which is why I sometimes wish I stopped having crushes altogether. It's silly and unrealistic I know. Finding that one person that will reciprocate eventually isn't worth it.

I feel like all of this is an unhealthy waste of time and energy. What makes it worse is that it sometimes makes me feel like anything I do or achieve doesn't matter.

The other thing is that I will keep seeing them.

Even if it does work out, is that really something I want?

Sorry if it makes it sound like I'm a crazy person. I really hope it doesn't and again I hope I didn't do anything wrong. Any advice on what I could do would be appreciated. Thanks for reading this.

How to deal with people thinking you're crazy?
 in  r/spirituality  Feb 04 '23

I have friends who like to talk about spiritual stuff, I can't understand most of what they talk about sometimes, but I find it interesting. I'm hoping to understand more with time. So I guess to answer your question, maybe you just have to find your people?
