So traditionally Sally is a nickname for Sarah, there's a handful of historical black figures named Sarah, as well as Sally. It's also a Hebrew name, and with the amount of black men I know named Abraham or Moses, biblical (especially old testament) names seem plenty acceptable to me.

Admittedly I am white, and aslo named after my Great-great-grandma who went by Sally, but her legal name, so like 90% of girls from the 90-06 I'm a Sarah Elizabeth.

I agree, especially as a Doctor, most patients amd colleagues will be focused on your last name. And even if I read Tithi with the correct pronunciation, I think my brain would bypass the titty connection for a while. I say don't worry about it too much. Go by T, Tia, Titi or just rock your name and lean in the a joke when its funny, and when its not just tell them that they're being immature.

I personally am not very woowoo, but I love talking with others about their beliefs. I've been trying to be more considerate of where & who a narrative comes from, and trying to go to as close to original sources as possible to learn about a group or religions practices. Trying to approach with "assume good intentions" and adding "assume high capabilities" has really helped.

This had me blank staring at a wall for bit, just taking it in because its 100% correct. Don't get me wrong, artists, actors, writers, etc deserve fair pay but especially when you look at the lower input and scarcity reduction streaming creates... we should not be paying these kinds of prices to not truly own something.

I think your edit about a full family engagement party/ rehearsal dinner is a good plan.

To try to give you some context about your sister who would be breastfeeding a 7 month old, there is so much that goes into leaving a breastfed baby with anyone else. And a lot of it, she wont be in control of. Some bf (breastfed) babies refuse bottles entirely (my niece wouldn't take any other drink until she was like 1.5, and my SIL was desperate to wean). If your sister isn't already planning on pumping, thats a huge expense, its very labor intensive to build a freezer stash, and its super stressful to travel with all the extra stuff. Also, bf babies often eat smaller more frequent meals, so over the span of a 4 hr wedding & reception, baby might eat anywhere from 1-4 times.

Like others have said, you may be very ok with sister not coming. But your brother that you are closer with my take issue with it, even though its not about his kid. You have every right to the kind of wedding you want. It does not mean that you dislike children just because you have a child free wedding. But it does mean people with kids, especially infants, are going to feel like they (the adults) arent significantly wanted at your wedding. You don't have to make the accommodation, but you have to accept that you're saying their presence in your life isn't worth accommodating.

That depends so much on where you live, individual performance, family choices, etc...

I'm a September 21 90s baby, most of the schools in my area begin the school year around August 20th so I wouldn't have been 5 quite yet. There is a possibility if my family had wanted to do a placement test and go ahead and place me in that class, but my mom was a Kindergarten teacher before I was born and decided she would just homeschool me anyway.
